Infection Prevention and Control
Infection Control is a mandatory CPD topic identified by the GDC. This interactive course is fundamental will help with safe dental care & application of infection control principles in real clinical situations.
This Practical Half-Day Course for Dental Nurses, Hygienists/Therapists and Practice Coordinators involved in clinical practice and decontamination takes place on Friday 27th November between 9am and 1pm at R-Academy Dental Education Centre – conveniently based in Edgware, North West London.
What you will cover:
Everyday infection prevention and safe chairside routines on what not to miss during a visual examination
Hand hygiene and PPE – correct use and common errors to avoid
Clean/dirty zoning and clinical workflows
Instrument decontamination, sterilisation, storage and traceability
Surface, equipment and suction hygiene
Sharps, waste and incident response
Clinical scenarios and practical problem-solving
In accordance with HTM-01-05
How much does it cost?
This face-to-face half-day course is kindly supported by DÜRR DENTAL and costs just £90 per candidate. And, if you make a booking of 5 people or more, just £75 per person!
